Principal Moulin
Welcome to Westerly High School
On behalf of the Westerly High School family, it is with great pleasure that we extend a warm welcome to you. As the principal of this incredible school, I am thrilled to be part of a community dedicated to empowering students to pursue their passions, dreams, and goals in every aspect of their lives.
At Westerly High School, we believe in the power of collaboration between students, families, and the school to create a supportive environment where every student can thrive. Our commitment to providing diverse opportunities is evident in our array of offerings, including our 9 Career and Technical Education programs spanning construction, cosmetology, culinary arts, and emergency medical training. Additionally, we provide 14 Advanced Placement classes and various dual enrollment opportunities to challenge and enrich our students' academic experiences.
Beyond academics, we recognize the importance of holistic development. That's why we offer a comprehensive range of sports programs throughout the year, ensuring students have opportunities for physical activity and teamwork. Moreover, we instill in our students a sense of social responsibility by encouraging community service, with a requirement of 30 hours of service before graduation. Seniors have the chance to showcase their growth and passions through senior projects, further preparing them for their future endeavors.
As educators, our mission extends beyond academics. We are committed to nurturing compassionate, self-driven individuals who are equipped to contribute meaningfully to our community, our nation, and the world. With an emphasis on leadership, extracurricular activities, fine arts, and hands-on learning, we strive to provide a well-rounded education that prepares students for success in all aspects of life.
Communication is key to our partnership with parents and guardians. We will keep you informed and engaged through regular emails, updates on our website, and quarterly newsletters. Your involvement and support are invaluable as we work together to shape the brightest future for our young people.
Westerly High School is deeply grateful and honored to be part of such an exceptional community. Together, we look forward to guiding and supporting your child on their journey to turn their visions into reality.
Warm regards,
Kellie Moulin
